I purchased my hemi swap motor with the truck still attached. It was only $7500 for the whole thing. It was a 2004 1500 SLT with only 9500 miles on it. This gave me more parts to work with and less to buy seperatly. I even have spare parts to sell to offset the cost.

My 04 Hemi won't start

My Hemi Javelin conversion was going along fine, but I can't get the motor started. I used the motor and trans from a 2004 Ram 1500 as well as all the wiring, dash and steering column. I used the stock fuel pump in a new tank. This is the first time in over a year that this wiring has been powered u...

When I was talking about front yoke, it was in reference to the front of the 2wd drive shaft. I did once put a 71 Javelin body on a Jeep Wagoneer 4x4 frame. I fit pretty good but if I were to do it today, I would use a more modern suspension like the Durango frame under the vintage Wagoneer body tha...

I kept the auto that was attached to my Hemi on my Javelin project. I did have to modify the trans tunnel a lot for this trans to fit, but mostly to clear the pass side stock exhaust manifold so I could retain the front portion of the factory exhaust with the cats. The front diveshaft yoke is spline...

I am in the process of installing a 2004 hemi into my Javelin. Unlike your project, I used the wiring harness and all the computers from the donar truck. I did deleat the ABS and The factory A/C controls. The ABS controler is Vin specific and if you do not use the dash with the computer in it, the A...

dual plud Hemi.

I believe the dual plug feature had more to do with emissions and fuel efficiency. The had a pretty tough time at first getting this engine to pass smog specs. My current engine swap is going along pretty well with the motor going back in for it's first refire in the coming month or so. I do not hav...

5.7 hemi swap

I'm currently installing a 2004 5.7 Hemi in my 72 Javelin. Since I got the complete donar truck. I am using the wiring, computor, trans, fuel injection and even the dash from this truck. I am using the complete truck wiring harness from front to back to simplify my conversion. The motor and electron...

Hemi truck body parts.

I have the complete front clip left and the drivers side doors and structure. The frame was damaged on the passenger side rear so I cut it off behind the front splice. I have the complete front suspension still attached to the frame along with the steering rack. I also have the rear springs and 3:92...

The truck was a Solar yellow SLT with the painted bumpers and grill with the chrome inserts. I have already cut up the wrecked portions and have saved the front clip including the front structure and complete drivers side body panel. After pricing the newly released stand alone harness, I have decid...

I recently purchased a complete wrecked 2004 quad cab hemi truck for $7500. I got the complete motor with only 9500 miles on it and every bit of wiring, computer, Throttle position sensor, alt, A/C, 5 speed auto trans, etc. Much cheaper then a crate motor and I plan to sell off the rest of the body p...

I just purchased a 2004 Hemi quad cab SLT Hemi truck for the drivetrain. It was hit pretty hard in the passenger side and I consider it a total as it does have a rather large dent in the frame and would need a cab and bed to be fixed. I saved the drivers side doors and the front clip. I have an offe...

20's on 2004

These 20's appear on Ebay rather frequently. I just purchased a wrecked 2004 for the Hemi and I have 3 of the 20"rims and 4 tires available. The spare tire is identical to the others. The remaing 3 have 9500 miles on them.
