I went with Magnaflow 18 inch glasspacks and 2.5 inch aluminized pipes. Then I finished it with 3 inch chrome tips. The whole setup was about $325. Not bad considering that it was for a true dual with two mufflers and two pipes? I love the crap out of the glasspack rumble; naturally :)

Anyone and everyone from the HOUSTON area!!

I was just wondering if there is a place in Houston that specializes in high performance for us Mopar Hemi late model enthusiasts? I know the LS1's have MTI, but what the hell does Dodge have?

If you look underneath your truck you will see that it has two cats. Just take it to a muffler place you trust. Have them cut the exhaust behind the cats, weld in the new mufflers and tailpipes. Viola! You got TRU DUAL EXHUAST without a time machine!! I used this setup with my truck and I love it. I...

Hypertech releases Power Programmer for 03-04 Hemis!!

The programmer claims an improvement of 17hp and 28lbs of torque over stock. How does this compare against the superchips power programmer?? ANd also, do these programmers void the factory warranty?? ANy info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Guys.

With this automatic transmission I have found out that there are two modes. Slushbox overdrive with moderate acceleration, or floor it and haul butt! If you moderately ease into the gas, it is always going to lag and shift into overdrive.

93 OCTANE every time!!

I use 93 Octane Power Premium every time. I dont care how much it costs!! If the average person uses 87 Octane, then I am gettin about 5-8 Horsepower over him. Just something to think about! Do you like the real Coke or Sam's choice? I prefer the real thing.

what do you mean?

It is awesome for your engine!! Who wants to run that thin-ass break in oil for 3000 miles? I usually change the oil between 500 and 1000 miles when I buy a new vehicle. I guess I just cant wait to get my Castrol GTX in that bad boy!!

I have no programmer so right now I can only turn 5800rpms, but I am pretty sure that the motor will turn at least 6000. I tried to shift at 6000 the other day and the stupid rev-limiter kicked in! I dont see any reason why it wont turn 6,000?

Unfortunately, I do not have a digital camera. I will try to explain it with words the best I can. The stock system goes a little something like this: Stock Manifolds, Stock Cats, and then it goes into a Y-Pipe, then it goes into a huge POS muffler, over the rearend, and into the POS resonator! So I...

NO PROBLEMS

Dodge has allowed old school guys like me the luxury of putting exhaust on our trucks. I had the muffler shop do their work BEHIND the cats. As long as you leave the o2 sensors and cats alone, you can dual the truck out with no problems. I am more pleased with this exhaust than any other I have ever...

Use it for street racing

What's up dude. I thought I would reply to your post because nobody ever replys to mine. I would use the tow/haul button if you are street cruising and looking for a run.(under 50mph) Then you will be ready for a pull. We all know those two overdrive gears just get in the way when you are trying to ...

Finally, My Rumble Bee has RUMBLE!!

Just wanted to update anyone that is having exhaust questions. I was changing the oil over the weekend when I noticed the truck had two cats. So yesterday I went down to my local muffler shop. I asked them to cut the exhaust behind the cats and dual it all the way out with 18 inch glasspacks(I wante...

Finally changed the oil yesterday at 1264 miles. I try to get the break-in oil out as soon as possible. Went down the road to my country strip. I came to a complete stop, hit the tow/haul button, and floored it. The truck laid about 3ft of rubber and hauled butt! This motor is just waking up!!

HOUSTON HEMI's........Do we have a club or Chapter?

Just wondering if Houston has enough of a following for a cruise/get-together, or something like that? I am anxious to meet other owners and take over the city! HEMI UP!!
