sorry it took so long for me to get back here.
thanks for the help, I was worried that the cam was going to be huge and not too streetable.
the pistons are still a mystery, lets just hope they aren't 13:1!! :o

Hi, let me apologize in advance for what is possibly going to be a difficult post to figure out. I have a friend who is building a 331 for his hotrod. he was just going to go with parts he happens to have, I suggested he should at least have an idea what the specs are on some of the stuff. well I 'm answering my own question. in 1955 the Plymouth V-8 was the 1954 Dodge 241 Poly. there was a 259, but it was also the other block. so now I'm looking for information on side mounts on a 1956 Plymouth V-8 car.

has any one put a 318 into an earlier Dodge using the Floating Power mounts? I have a 1959 318 Poly which I would like to install while I rebuild the 270 Hemi in my Coronet. I'm guessing I need the front mounts off a 277 or maybe a 301 Plymouth engine. 1955 was the last year for Floating Power, in 1...

Greetings from beautiful sunny southern California!
