Re: Failed 5.7L Hemi......my findings

ok so you knew that 03 and 04 hemi's in the bigger vehicles were prone to this, yet you still bought one with 130,000 miles on it? it threw the rod two years after you bought it and now you want chrysler to pay for it?

Re: Another source for early Hemi parts gone

Has anyone ever bought one of their 392 engines? It seemed like their prices were almost to good to be true. Just wondering if they were any good or just crap.

Re: 5.7 HEMI crate engine error codes

i would think that they would have used the same location as your original engine. driver side under the dash.
dakota-durango.com might be a better place to ask. many hemi dakota conversons there.

Re: HI New Guy Here! Desoto Hemi Question

i have seen a 70's duster with a 426 hemi so i would think a desoto might fit. from what i remember though, the guy had to change everything in the front end. rack and pinion, electric fan, custom k frame, heaver torsion bars, possibly firewall mods, moved break m/c. It did look stock from the facto...

oddly enough, the other day i was wondering aloud to some friends what one of those would look in the old panther pink color. I wonder if it is still gonna be FM3 paint code. i kinda dig it.
