Have a 54 (I think) 331 Industrial Hemi and need to know what plugs to run in it. I bought the engine as a "short block" and it had AC-Delco R44XLS (3/4" reach) plugs in a box along with it. 1956 MOTORS Repair Manual shows that there are some different plugs that were used in the Chry...

331 Dipstick dimension
OK, can't seem to find a 331 dipstick. Does anyone have a 331 apart, or the pan off and could give me a dimension from the bottom of the block where the pan bolts on to the FILL or FULL mark(s) on the dipstick? I may have to modify a HH stick to use with the original 331 bent tube, as HH's bent tube...
