I just bought a Magnum R/T for the Chickee last night.
I'm completely impressed so far!

That new SRT8 sure looks awesome. I love it too!

Depends on the weight, and where the weight is.
My car has the engine set back, but it's under 3000lbs, and I run 150lb rear coils.

I would SO own a Pantera -- if I had the cash available!
It would take alot of cash I bet! LOL That's a heckuva car! I have yet to see an owner built car with suspension and a chassis that comes close to his labour intensive masterpiece.

I looked on his site again, and couldn't find anything about a track time for his Pantera. I see a time listed for his son's (I think it's his son's) P1800 Volvo. Are you possibly confusing the two cars somehow?
I wish I had a picture of the P1800 somewhere, it's GORGEOUS!

I'll have to show Goran this, he has posted here.... I've never seen an "8 second 1/4 mile" claimed by Goran, in fact he says his car is not set up for drag racing. It's an absolute incredible piece of engineering IMO. It's not a drag racer, it's a complete thoroughly thought out package ...

I have no idea if the forum is dead, I stop by from time to time, wondering what my password is/was.
LOL!
I hope the new round of Hemis get their quality issues under control, because that's the BIGGEST issue with the Hemi engines sold through MP by far.

I would phone Cummins with the tag#s and find out if you need new rocker adjusters, they had batches of them that failed and Cummins can tell from the tag#, so I am told.

My Demon was a 440, the swap was easy, but I used underchassis CPPA 2" headers, which were a bit of a pain in the butt. I think using a head such as an Edelbrock, which moves the plug/plug boot away from the header tube would be the biggest gain from my perspective. There are better street head...

They are MSD 8.5 spiral core leads, they are a custom length kit, I took 8mm wire separators and drilled them out to accept the 8.5mm wires.

Thanks Charlie1!

Well, I've been working on it, I'm just mocking up the cooling system. MP aluminum waterpump housing, Edelbrock water pump, Northern 31"X19" aluminum "dual pass" radiator and a Flexalite 295 fan kit, supposedly 4600 cfm. Is this thing gonna stay cool?!?! http://board.moparts.org/...

Hey Goran! :D The aluminum/bronze gears that are required to mesh with the billet cams "eat themselves" with use, so I understand anyways? You have run a billet roller cam on the street for years with NO trouble as far as the intermediate shaft goes??! I talked to Barton's shop and they ad...

I never got a REASON for the dislike of the hydraulic rollers, which kinda pissed me off a bit. I wanted to run one and it seemed they just didn't want to hear about it. A mechanical roller is a different animal, but most are billets, and require the soft intermediate shaft gear, which I didn't want...

I actually WANTED to run a hydraulic roller in my engine, but the Barton camp wanted nothing to do with it.
I run one in my motorhome, it's got really good power, but it doesn't rev past 5400 rpm (360ci)

Are you thinking of running one?

I would rather see a picture of a non-Hemi MoPar if I have to see non-related photos, by a long shot!
