I sent a follow-up email to Street & Performance to see if they would want to share any information with us. No response yet. Hopefully there really is some good news! Maybe an updated PCM is coming from someone soon so they are using an S&P project for a publicity stunt to grab some attention befor...

1957 DeSoto Sportsman with 5.7L Hemi
http://www.thehemi.com/registry.php?id=0045

You might want to drop Wayne an email with some
questions. He put a 5.7 Hemi into his 1957 DeSoto.

Although I would still like to see some answers put
online here for anyone else who is thinking about it.

Paxton tells me they are 1-2 months out still (of course). So the website selling them must be collecting pre-orders or just trying to get some free website traffic. If the "upto 45% increase" claim ends up being the truth, that means the 5.7 HEMI would get bumped upto 500-hp! (That is crank horsepo...

Plenty of rumors and speculation about the KB kit. KB says they are not done tuning the PCM, but the true conspirators believe that DC is stopping them for now so we do not have $30K Hemi Rams out to kill the $45K Viper Rams. Paxton has not returned my email about a website which claims to have a Pa...

Here is some interesting information... http://thesuperchargerconnection.com/ They are selling a Paxton supercharger kit for the HEMI. NOVI 1200 -- 1201220 (Satin) and 1201220-P (Polished). The odd thing is that Paxton does not list these part #s. But the part #s are very close to the latest Dodge u...

Differences Between the 5.7 HEMIs

Why is the Ram 345/375 and Durango 335/370? Same engine, but the Durango has a more restrictive exhaust system to keep the interior cabin noise down. How is the 300/Magnum 340/390 any different? Several reasons, namely dealing with packaging of the engine for the certain market. Noise dampening eng...

Or so my documentation states for 1968s.

That is a pretty interesting theory, I could see that.
It would be hard to sell a $45K 500-hp Ram if there
is a $3K add-on for a $25K Ram to also get 500-hp.

1) It should not be too hard of a task to undertake. 2) We are still waiting for a SC to actually be sold. I believe the hold up is cracking the PCM so that it can be updated to accomodate the new air charge. I dropped another message to KB to see what they have to say about their progress. Not that...

Rumors of a Hemi Mopar Kit

Rumors are floating around that Dodge might be getting ready to release a performance package for the Hemi to include an updated PCM and maybe fuel injectors. Price was somewhere around $1100. No real hp #s provided. Not sure of this is vaporware or really something coming. But that would be cool to...

I assume the car version has speed density, too.
Basically the same motor with a different flash?
