What model year are we talking about? '04 or '05?
Is the 6.1L slated as an option for the 1500 trucks?
(Was the V10 ever in the 1500s or only in 2500s?)

That is a good point. The dyno graphs that I have
seen show a peak HP reading around 4400, and it
is claimed by Dodge the peak HP sits around 5400.
So the 260-rwhp numbers are not yet at the peak.

Something like TSB 18-013-03 should fix the problem.
They reflash your computer with some upgraded code.

Dodge 241 Red Ram with 4-bbl Carb?

My records indicate the 1954 Dodge Red Ram 241 Hemi came only in with 2-bbl setups (two compression ratios). I received a message from someone that they ordered a '54 Dodge Custom Royal, brand new, with a 4-bbl carb. The engine was red with aluminum colored valve covers. Was there, in fact, 4-bbl 24...

David Stall recently posted some audio files (.wav files)
of the firing up of their BigRed Chrysler Air Raid Siren.
The beast is powered by an Industrial 331 Hemi engine.

How does this work? 2 "second gears"?
When accelerating (upshifting), it always uses the 1.67 gear.
When downshifting, it will use either 1.50 or 1.67 depending
on throttle position, speed, and determined engine load, for
the best performance.

I have been asked by someone if a 331 can bore to
a size enough to use 354+0.060 overbore pistons?

426 Marine Hemi

Does anyone have info on possible marine 426 Hemis?
I am told that Navy had some 426s for possible use in
high speed boats (maybe they were "marine"). Did the
Chrysler Industrial Marine Division build marine 426s?
I read that CIMD did produce some 426 race Hemis.

Safety Wired 426 Hemi?

Someone has asked me about a 426 Hemi that they have come across. The engine is still on a crate, has never been run, and has safety wires between bolts. The safety wires are what brings up these questions. What could have been the original intent for the Hemi? NASCAR? Marine use? Perhaps even for t...

1968 Superstock Rumors

Originally I was under the assumption that the 1968
Superstock Dart and Barracuda came with the Race
426 Hemi. But I am now hearing that they were just
Street 426 Hemi motors with cross-ram intakes.

Meaning, 10.25:1 compression and Street 426 cam.
Does anyone have any solid information either way?

The 5-45RFE 5-speed auto for the 2003 2500s:

1 -- 3.00
2 -- 1.67 upshift, 1.50 kick-down
3 -- 1.00
4 -- 0.78
5 -- 0.67

The same engine and transmission in the 1500,
so I assume they probably kept the same gears.

392 Pistons into a 354 Industrial

I have someone asking me if a set of 10:1 392 Hemi pistons can be installed into his 354 Industrial Hemi with the right overbore? Can it keep the 354 rods? Does a 354 Industrial Hemi have the same bore and stroke as a passenger 354 Hemi? I do not have the Industrial data, but I can imagine they are ...
