Perhaps it was a 1970 Challenger RT/SE with 426 Hemi?
The SE, obviously, meant "Special Edition" and was built
in more limited numbers compared with normal hardtops.

No, it is not a joke. I updated the links. Looks like they just added their 2004 parts and I guess they "re-number" all their products. Weird -- they actually changed their Product IDs. As for your question about the forums, drop me an email and we can see if we can do something -- scottm@scotech.com.

Paxton R&D has not released the horsepower figures,
so Paxton reps have no idea how TruckPerformance is
able to show any horsepower/torque numbers.

You have your TMR wired pulled, right?

I believe the SS should pull away from a QC,
but with the TMR wire pulled, I betcha it gives
the QC enough back to overtake Chevy's SS.

Nice to see a Hemi earn a street victory! :)

2004 Durango HEMI

I am impressed. I just priced the new Durango. 2004 Durango SLT with 5.7L Hemi runs $31,000. I know, I know, that is not cheap, but consider: Chevrolet Tahoe *starts* at $35K with a 4.8L V8. Ford Expedition *starts* at $33K with a 4.6L V8. AFAIK you had to spend $40K for a Durango R/T in previous ye...

Disable TMR (Torque Mgmt Req)

Here is what some people are doing to bypass the TMR: Remove the #7 pin from the bottom connector of the PCM. (It will be a yellow cable with a dark green stripe.) or Remove the #10 pin from the transmission side connector. (The tranny connector should be right next to the PCM.) People claim their 1...

Durango 335-hp vs Ram 345-hp

Some people have noticed that the Hemi Durango
comes with a 335-hp rating (the Ram has 345-hp).

DC says this is due to the more restrictive exhaust
system used on the new Durango to minimize some
of the interior noise. The D is said to be real quiet.

I have heard that these new Hemi blocks
are not designed to be rebuilt after death.
If that is true, I imagine they cannot have
any boring done to them. We will have to
see if the 6.1 uses the same block or not.

You can see the hemispherical heads in this picture:

Compared with, say, the Ford 289 cylinder head:

When you see them both, you can see the difference.
