How is the 51 coming under "attack" lately? I constantly hear how it was the "best THIS" and "best THAT" by so many people, when there are a handful of fighters that were more capable in many ways. The 38s were superior, as were the 47s.

The #s are fantastic, the Magnum/300C Hemis achieve power at better RPM ranges than the Ram Hemis..... These engines should be implicated into the FS trucks.

(any one out their saying the p51 mustang was the best might as well say the Ford mustang was the best in the 60s). Time for an arguement. Though excellent in a dive, and possessing good speed, the P-51 was just as fast and more maneuverable than the Thunderbolt. Both aircraft could carry an incred...

I saw the Ford commercial in which they tow 32 friges. That's for the 4x2 F350 desiel with an advertising towing capacity of 13,400 lbs. My 1500 4x4 quad cab is rated for 1200 lbs more. Also, ever notice the commercial shows a 4x4, when the fine print says you can only do it with the 4x2. Your half...

6 Laps with 2005 Dodge Magnum,

The Magnum Ride and drive opened my eyes to the compensation Dodge has now made due to not having a rear wheel drive Sedan for the last 20 years. I cant say enough about the Magnums road dominance, other than the fact that we were running circles around the Cadillac CTS. After driving it, all other ...

WTF Fram Filters suck big time, Its not opinion based, But usually based on studies conducted from extensive testing the filter itself. The are 1 of the top 2 or 3 to rupture not to mention the facts that they have one of these worst elements.

Re: tap tap tap

My question to you is,what type of oil filter are you using. If you are not using an OEM or Puralator,it probably does not have a ant-drain back valve. With out this valve, the oil will leak back out of your filter and into the pan over night. When the engine is first started in the morning, the tapping...

Re: Noisy Motor

I've also noticed a bit of "clatter" from my '04 Ram. It doesn't sound like the valves are about to eject but is louder than I've experienced with previous Dodge engines. Am I safe in assuming that the Hemi has a slightly noisy valve train? (it's only got 700 miles on it!) I noticed that too on man...

I sell Dodge trucks. It's not unusual to see different HP ratings from one model to the next equipped with the same engine. It's my understanding that the engines are tuned slightly differently according to need. Dave Rose Powell, Wyoming Yes, Im guessing less compression for the 1 tons, but I migh...

Thats incorrect the actual Rear wheel estimate would be anywhere from 280 to 275 on a 1 ton. nowhere near 330 and above. The Half tons are only getting about 290 let alone the HDs. Dodge HP is rated at flywheel.
