TRwaters is doing a similiar project here. His is a 64 like mine. As for the pictures I think you got to have them on a web site and as your replying to a post there is and img button and you put your web address in(?). I've yet to do this to get my hemi pictures and 64 Valiant pictures posted. I re...

I've thought about having one of those trick new K-members with the rack and pinions and narrowing them up to fit in the early A bodies or having on special made to do it. That way you could run a rear sump pan and still probably have room for a set of Hot Heads full length headers. I'm running a mi...

Valve cover studs/bolts leak?
Valve cover studs/bolts. I've noticed that they could leak water, at least on the intake side. Has anybody had problems with this? Do you have to use some kind of sealer around the bolts or studs which ever you decided to use? This is on 392 heads. I havn't noticed on the others to know if they are ...

Thanks for everbody replies on the PAW pistons. I was just tring to figure out how to get as close as possible with out ccing. I realize this may be kind of silly, but if they are advertised for 10.5 compression then I figures that the older head gaskets were probably thin steelies like maybe .025 t...

Cool that's what I was wanting to here. Do they come with any information about was cc's the domes are. The reason I'm wanting to know is I want to try and get a true 10.1 or 10.5 compresion. I'm wondering how much should milled from the heads and what gasket thickness is needed to do so. Do the dom...

Well in their picture they look like my 57 9:25 ones, just wanting to make sure of what they are selling. I've had touble with them in the past. That's a good deal on those pistons if they are what they supposed to be. Do you have any of the 57 ones laying around to compare them too also? Thanks for...

If I'm not mistaken I think that I've been to your website. It looks like gain some more ground from the pictures I seen on the website. Did you have the motor build up of that motor on that website? If so what's the web address of it. Thanks.

Fluidampers?
Did they start manufacturing them agian? I noticed that Hot Heads has them advertised. Can any body tell me what this is? It's advertised as a 392 part, but I really think that it is for a 354 truck motor or it's for a marine aplication. I happen to have one laying around, but wasn't sure what it's ...

Wow, on the lifters, is the part number then the 817#? I wish I could help you with the cam. I can't wait to be able to start on my early Hemi's. I read on Comp Cams website that they have 392 cam blanks. They may all be able to do that though like Crower and Isky, not sure on Crane stuff. Keep us p...

Thanks for the feed back. I was talking to comp cams and Mancini racing and they sent me a big block cam instead of a small block cam. They told to keep the lifters, because the lifters for a big block are the same as a small block. I've seem to of read some where that the 392 would take the newer s...

I've heard that people have bored them to the 354 bore size and not having a problem. I quess the best thing to do is have the block sonic tested. On the deck height all I know it's the same as the 354, that probably dosen't help you none. Sorry. In my area there isn't anybody close that can even do...
