The test bed PVO 300 is no less than 400 but more than the Caddilac 05 model. They would not quote the exact HP numbers.

Like the previous version of the test 5.7ltr, it came in at different power ratings.

The Ram gets the 18-inch wheels as standard, Durango interior, and the 6.1 ltr engine but no V-10 Hemi. V-10 Magnum is gone. What model year are we talking about? '04 or '05? Is the 6.1L slated as an option for the 1500 trucks? (Was the V10 ever in the 1500s or only in 2500s?) 1500 in 05, 06 for HD...

Let me look to see if this is a ASP link. If it is, then I will paste it.

If the source is correct, you want the 6.1 vice 5.7. The difference is going to be a mere 100HP and torque factor is greater for the 6.1 than the 5.7 ltr engine.

Re: HEMI growth

HEMIDakota,. I anticipate the 6.1 more than anything. Can the 5.7 block be bored over at all? I have heard conflicting statements. Isnt it the exact same stroke as the 5.9? but with smaller diameter cylinders??? Besides size is their a cam difference on the 6.1?? A bigger HEMI Would be my dream, It...

I didn't know they are allready starting to mess with the new ram body style. When you find something out, I'd like to see it posted, and maybe pics of some sort. Id like to see a Charger 5.7L. The 345-hp version would be a great base V-8 and the R/T would be awesome with a 430hp supercharged version. My insurance company would probably love me then :D Im tired of seeing Mustangs as well even though I have 3. People dont keep them in good condition like they...

Does anyone know if the SRT-8 will be a possible product from dodge in their rams. I know an after market supercharger is great, but I'd want one under warranty. Not only that, you'd get the suspension work with a better transmission, but then again, you never know. No on the Ram version. There is ...

Got them in the truck today! The truck feels more ALIVE...... Things to know: Vehicle speed is obtained from wheel speed, NOT transmission output shaft speed. No modification needed for your speedometer! The carrier pinion shaft needs to be modified for ring gear clearance to install it. 3.91:1 - 3...

With a turbo if you stay in vaccum you dont use "much" more fuel than if the turbo want even there. A centrifugal or roots blower "unlike the Mercedes clutch style" is going to draw a measureable amount of power at all rpms. Yes...maybe this is why DCX went with the turbo packag...
