Re: ? about the casting # list

Kinda thought so. The year maybe wrong too. I think it is from my VT448 331 block. That makes it a 1956. I know though, the guy working the line is going to put what the boss tells him on the finished engine.

Re: 5 old hemi's

Here are some more pictures. I think this guy was selling parts too. There are two engines taken apart. Trying to find the parts for them in this trailer is turning into a lot of work. One is a NE56 354 and one is a VT448 331. Funny part is.....there are two sets of heads. One set is for a 354 truck...

? about the casting # list

I am working on getting all these part identified.

I have an intake with # 1637625-1. Your list shows it as a 1955 392 Hemi 1x4. your list show the 392 being made from 1957-1958. Am I missing something?

Three are complete. Two are in pieces. All parts are there as best as I can see.

Might be getting these this weekend.

Do you all think $3000 is a good price? Three are complete. Two are in pieces. All are stored in a trailer.

331 hemi rebiuld kits

Hello all. I am thinking about buying a 331 hemi. Not sure which one it is yet. My question is...Where is the best place to buy a rebuild kit? I would like to make some power with it too. This would be for a rat rod project. Is $1000 to much for one too? I was also given this as the casting number. ...
