bell housing casting numbers?

bell housing casting numbers?

hello, i have an old mopar bell housing and cant find any info on it. the numbers are 1638997 and on the other side is CWC 1279...Any info is greatly appreciated!!

57 Chrysler New Yorker
57 Desoto
57-58 Plymouth
57-58 Dodge car

6 and 8 cylinders with manual transmission
Could be use on any of the early hemi and poly motors with correct flywheel, starter, and trans.
Early hemi to late sb Mopar trans adapters. Precision billet parts for early hemis.

I've just recently run across one of these bellhousings myself, any idea what transmissions would mate to it?

This seems overly broad where there was Big blocks & small blocks with different bell patterns in '58.....
