DeSoto S27 Models

Post by scottm »

I got this message the other day:
HEY I HAVE A COMPLETE DESOTO FIRE DOME EIGHT # S2769844 WHAT IS IT
But the last DeSoto in my database is the S26A.
With the last FireDome being S25 back in 1957.
Am I missing some data? Should I have a S27?

A thought was that it could actually be a 1, not a 7.

Sounds like it really is a S22 engine. 291 DeSoto FireDome Hemi.
I think the owner is willing to sell the engine for $400 if anyone has
an interest in a 291 DeSoto. Drop me a line if you have an interest.
