Those are scans from the October C&D about what
they believe the 2006 Charger is going to look like.

OK, so it's basically a painted and striped 300C. That's disappointing.

Here is a link to the C&D sketch and the article.
Their sketches and statistics are, no doubt, nice.
But for a "Charger" it does not get me excited.

I am holding out hope the production version is
a bit more "Charger" and a little less "Magnum".

Dodge better step it up and come out with a better car than that. They are completely capable of it, so they should come through. You can't just remake a Charger, youv gotta remake it with style. The Charger has a big name and a bigger history to live up to, and this 2006 model aint gonna cut it the way it is. As for it looking like the 300 and/or Magnum it doesn't. Its just the same LX (rear wheerl drive) platform if I recal correctly. Also because its got a big beefy body with smaller windows, thats why were getting that idea of it looking like the others. But a good point Scottm "a little more Charger and a little less Magnum"

Not in any way a compliment to Ford but Dodge should follow thier lead and make the new Charger retro like the 2005 Mustang.

Just my thoughts on the situation. :)

Here are some rumored spy pics of the new Charger.

To see what the photographer had to say about the new
Charger, check out the thread where these were found.

I cannot tell squat from the photos, but the good news is
the guy said that the car looked better viewed in person!

It is still a year out. It will probably change some more.
The first one built off the intrepid frame still looked better, more like the turbo interceptor.

I was at the local Auto show the other day and I was looking at that new Ford Mustang. It looks pretty good. They really went with the 60s style on the body and parts of the interior. When you bring back a musclecar with a big name you have to make it impressice and a sfar as im concerned Ford did just that. I wiash Dodge would make the new charger look like it did in its best days. (1968-1970) At leaste you will be able to own a HEMI Charger..................from 2006 that is.

I saw that one in 99 when it came out and I have been anticipating its release ever since. Thats what the Charger should look like. More Charger and less Magnum in this machine.

It won't be the final production Charger though
