Best place for brake rotors?

Post by HemiKELLY »

It's time to replace/fix these junky rotors dodge put on my truck.

Where is the cheapest place to buy new rotors?

Is there anything thing special I should know about changing them out?

Thanks

Try AutoZone or NAPA for stock replacements,For better ones

PowerSlot-sloted rotors $98.00 each

This is the pricing for my area

Autozone $25/ea :D
Napa $35/ea :)
Pepboys $35/ea :)
O'reilly's $105/ea :o
Dodge $90/ea.

Is there anything I need to know before starting the brake job?

How hard is it to remove the existing rotors and how hard is it to remove the calipers? Any special tools required?

Thanks

No special tools, you just remove caliper first then remove rotor. I trust you have done a brake job before? Let me know.

Pretty Simple

I bought the Autozone rotors for $25/ea (2 year warranty) and the lifetime pads for $25. The whole swap was easy (only four bolts to remove excluding the lug nuts). Man what a difference. It took me an 1 1/2 hours from the time I broke the tools out unil i put them up.

Cheers
