New Super Stock Challenger?

New Super Stock Challenger?
Several people in the business have been suggesting to DCX
that they should re-create the limited edition Super Stock pkg
with the new upcoming Hemi Challenger.
Jack Thomas' daughter-in-law created this potential rendering.
Jack was the owner/driver of the 1965-1968 Chicagoland Dodge
Boys Super Stock cars. (Check out James Schild's new book!)
Be sure to send your suggestions about this to your DCX reps!

Hi Scott,
Nice idea !
I wrote (e-mailed) to Dodge (via a name on your website) about something similar a month or two ago: Remember Paul Rossi's original acid dipped, heavily tweaked 440 Stock/Super Stock Challenger from the seventies and eighties ? I suggested that on the launch of the new Challenger, that a few Challenger cars/bodies be donated to name race car builders and let them construct something that gives a nod towards PR's old car, making the (direct ?) connection between performance and the new Challenger. Using a tweaked original/3rd Generation Hemi engine, or a 528 Hemi from MP would be nice.
I got a positive, but naturally enough, non-committal response from Dodge.
Here's hopin' !
With regard to your posting: Great idea ! Who do we contact ? Could the new Challenger be stripped down to a weight at which it would be competitive ?
Can anyone do any more renditions ?
Great idea !
Mike.
