We built a 392 using a SRT8, 6.1 shortblock. We used a 3.796 stroke with 6.125" H beam rods. We used the shorter rod to have a better ring pack design on the short piston. We had to grind additional material off the crank throws to make those rods work. With the 6.200" rods, you wouldn't have to remove much, or anything off the throws, but it will push the ring pack closer to the piston top. We stuck with the 6.1 cam. This Paxton supercharged engine, is in an 05 Ram and we're stuck with the stock PCM. The heads are where the power lies within these new Hemi's. We went with a set of 5.7 bench designed, closed chamber, hand ported heads with a 2.08" intake and a 1.62" exhaust. The intake to exhaust ratio's average 78%, with an air speed of 350 fps. I'm glad Dodge is doing something for the hot rodder's and the new school technology, going into old school cars. I wish they would get their heads out of their butt's and release a new PCM or PCM upgrade flash, for the new school guy's. Most of us building these new motors, voided our warrentee's as soon as we drove them off the lot. lol
