The original press releases and specs sheets from Chrysler listed the
new 2009 Dodge Ram as having 380-hp. The latest press release, I
will try to post it tomorrow, now lists the truck having class leading
390-hp. I found that interesting. I think Chrysler mgmt discovered
that the Toyota Tundra had 381-hp and decided they should beat it?

Re: 2009 Ram from 380-hp to 390-hp
Chrysler says the 380-hp was an initial "estimate" and
that the 390-hp figure was achieved only recently. I'm
curious if there was any kind of I didn't see? LOL

Re: 2009 Ram from 380-hp to 390-hp
The problem is that with gas prices now, a lot of people are
looking only at fuel economy. Even if the actual mpg figures
for the truck aren't all that bad a compared to the competition,
a lot of people are going to be scared off by the horsepower
numbers.
