Chrysler’s upcoming 6.4-liter V-8 gasoline engine will only be available for the company’s high-performance SRT vehicles and not Ram Heavy Duty pickup trucks unless substantial changes can be made, execs say.

I can't imagine this is a surprise for anyone. Why would they trump the SRT engine
with the non-SRT engine? With the Ford and Chevy base engines now pushing 400-hp
Chrysler needs to worry more about getting the SRT8 out ahead of them. (At least in
terms of power, Chrysler is already well ahead in terms of vehicle weight...)
