I installed an APS hemi converter. Day to day driving is awesome. I have done the tmr mod and punching my 4x4 QC off road from a standstill gave me about 3ft of tire spin. After the APS converter install, I went over 30ft and still let out of it. On the dyno, I saw NO gains at all. Some folks say I should see them, but I've had 3 performance shops tell me a converter generally won't show much on a chassis dyno. And sometimes you lose a little power in exchange for lower ET's. In anycase, no dyno results but man does it help stop light to stop light driving. I'm not saying go buy one, but if anyone has wondered how it responds, now you know. Here is a pic of my burnout and it is taken 3 days later so some of it faded. No brake tqing...just a stomp from 600rpm idle.

They do claim 25 to 30 rwhp. I don't know how to get the numbers to display on the dyno though. I didn't even get 1hp. However, you can see that the tq off the line was tremendously increased. Driving around is tons different.
My next door neighbor has a 2wd QC hemi and he drove mine today. He said my 4x4 QC responds much better and has more tq than his. He felt that my truck displayed more power driving stop light to stop light. He was really impressed with the converter difference.

I paid to have it installed. I paid $250 to someone that I know and had their own side business. I was quoted $330 to $400 for the install on my 4x4. 2wd's might be a tad less due to labor.
