hay guys has anyone went up against a late model vette i'm talking 80's to 90 model,,,, i was playing around earlyer today with one i thank i can take him,,,,,,

Anything before a 92 would be an easy kill. 92 and ups are either LT1 or LS1's. Don't think you stand a chance there unless they either can't drive or don't know they are racing.

whats the difference between the SLT and SXT as far as options are concerned? Isn't the SXT a step-down from the SLT? Like a value priced Ram? not knocking the SXT, in fact, it may be a better buy.

no one with a HEMI is going to outrun a Vette unless its a stock carbed 350 used in the Stingray bodystyle. These cars are only rated at 240hp (Im not sure thats the exact number, but its close) not till 91 did the 300hp LT1 debut. keep in mind 345hp HEMIs are no match for a 300hp LT1 due to weight differences in a car and a huge truck. comparing a vette to a Ram is like comparing apples and oranges. Sure I would love to see a Ram outrun a vette, but im just being realistic.

the diff between sxt and the slt is you don't get power windows, door locks, the over hand consull with the trip computer, and few other things but i paid under 17 grand of my truck,,,, but come on if you were like me the only reason a bought the truck caus the hemi,,,, and it was a 85 model i talk to gut a week afterwards a it stock so it was a easy kill
