Does Mopar Use Refurb 426s for Crates?

A website visitor from Holland emailed me an interesting question.
He has a "crate 426 Hemi" that came with a 5249667 part number.
But the motor also has the 2468330 casting number on the block.
Which is the casting number on the 1964-1971 426 Hemi engines.
Does/did Mopar re-use old blocks for their 426 crate Hemi motors?
Maybe this casting is also used on their newly created blocks, too?
