cam centerline on crate hemi

Has anyone checked the cam centerline on their crate hemi? I have had a 426 and now a 472 and they both idle crappy and are stumbly off idle. I just got thru rebuilding an orig. 426 and used the same cam as the 426 crate and it runs twice as good as the crates. I setup the cam the way it said (108 centerline set at 104 degrees) and wow! All the engines have the same orig intake and carb setup. I about ready to pull the front off the 472 and check it unless anyone has found them correct. Any help thanks, Bill
