472 hemi , better than 426's?

I got a brand new 472 hemi crate ...after reading all the stories here now I am very scared, is there a way to know if my engine is better than the 426's mentioned in many postings?

.400 more stroke and a little more cam, but otherwise about the same engine. Better? Yep.

Have the engine torndown, measure everything, correct everything, reassemble and you will be fine.

I would phone Cummins with the tag#s and find out if you need new rocker adjusters, they had batches of them that failed and Cummins can tell from the tag#, so I am told.
