Anyone know of any "street trim" 528s out there? If so, how do they run? I'm nearly ready to install mine and I'm wondering what to expect.

Get a bigblock 727 and a 727 out of a wagoneer I'm not sure when Wagoneers started useing them but I think it was 80. Take the jeep trans tailhousing and output shaft and rebuild the bigblock 727 with those parts. For the Tcase if you have the diff on the drivers side (which I think 81;s had) use a tcase out of a 94+ V8 truck (diesel and V10 has wrong spline count) or an Atlas II from advance adapters ($2k). Parts Milke (www.partsmike.com) is a good source. With your engine the Atlas would make more sense.
