SUBJECT: HEMI CRATE ENGINE AND BLOCK SUPPLY UPDATE

THE MOPAR PERFORMANCE 426 HEMI AND 426/440 WEDGE BLOCKS AND CRATE ENGINE'S WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL MID AUGUST OF 2004. THE DELAY IS DUE TO A FOUNDRY CLOSING DOWN THUS REQUIRING MOPAR PERFORMANCE PARTS TO MOVE THE TOOLING TO ANOTHER SUPPLIER. BECAUSE OF THE CHANGE IN FOUNDRIES, MAJOR TOOLING REFURBISHING NEEDS TO BE PERFORMED IN ORDER TO GET HIGH QUALITY BLOCKS ALONG WITH SUFFICIENT QUANTITIES TO MEET THE DEMAND OF OUR HEMI CRATE ENGINES.

THIS CHANGE AFFECTS THE FOLLOWING 426, 472, 528 HEMI AND 426, 440 AND 500 WEDGE BLOCKS AND CRATE ENGINES.
