i heard a rumor that chysler had made a dohc hemi engine in the sixties as there answer to the ford cammer? is this true? and does anyone know any other information on it ? and also did it really have 4 valves?

this is very true.........
there isn't tons known about it. i bought a book about a year ago that had a section devoted entirely to hemi engines. All that was said is that it was 32 valve, 426 cubic inches, twin cam, and a 16 branch intake manifold and its rumored to have had over 900 horses with a single 4 barrel. unfortunately Ford never got to run there cammers and neither did chrysler so it was scrapped. I believe only 11 examples of the hemi cammer were built and i'm pretty sure all were destroyed.
