1967 DANA 60 OUT OF HEMI A - BODY QUESTIONS.

howdy all,

this is my first post , and i just wanna say im not a troll.

i have a dana 60 that may be pretty rare and i need some help.

first off i already know that it is in fact a A body dana 60.
the factory production codes are all 11 23 66, and 9 21 66.
it has a 3.54 powr lok gear set with 23 splined axles. and a 4.5 bolt pattern. it also measure 58 1/2 inches or so from axle flange to axle flange. it has no BoM on the axle tubes. all deciphering was done by a chrysler dealer for me.

my question is how many of these cars came with a dana 60.
im being told the only way to get one was to order a hemi with a 4spd.
all auto had 8 3/4 rears.
then the dealer was telling there were only 9 made for that year.

any gurus out there with any other info is greatly appreiciated.

and if any body is interested let me know. because i bought this to install in a 63 nova wagon. but now finding out how rare it is , i would like to see it find a proper home.

I don't know what you've got...but the only A bodies that ever came with a Dana 60 were the very limited production 1968 Factory Superstock Hemi Darts and Cuda race cars. Even with these cars, the Dana 60 came only in the handful of 4 speed cars that were produced- the automatic cars came with 8 3/4 rears. No A body car produced in either 1966 or 1967, or after 1968 came factory with either a hemi or a Dana 60 rear.
