Hot Pursuit-Ram SRT 10

Post by DodgeInfoCenter »

Hey Everyone,

Dodge Ram SRT-10, Viper engine, 500 hp? Check it out in action on the web video Hot Pursuit @ drivesrt.com.

Let me know what you think.

P.S. Please be advised that this video does contain intense chase scenes.

Thanks

Ram SRT10 is chasing an enormous fireball.

It’s basically set up as a race between the fireball and the Ram SRT10... which one can make it through the closing gates first using their ultimate speed. Just when the fireball is inches away from reaching the gates, the SRT10 overtakes it and crashes it under its rear tire….
Winning the competition as it dashes off into the distance.

Message at the end being… The Fastest production pick-up Anywhere.

Interesting - it is very cool looking but not really taking the "bull" by the horns.

i think it would have been more effective to chase down a lightning bolt and smash it to bits like it was a piece of glass. to me chasing a lighning bolt conotes the concept of the fastest production pickup by over taking something as fast as the speed of light while not so subtly taking a jab at the F150 Lighning package. the fireball is kinda a stretch in denoting fastest production truck where the ford once held the reins of that title...

it seems nicely produced, i like the truck action shots but the dogs kinda remind me of the demon hounds from Ghostbusters...

my 2 cents...

The animation was interesting, but I prefer to see real vehicles in real action. I liked the short movie that featured the Charger SRT-8 and R/T. The SRT site should have short movies featuring each SRT vehicle showing off its capabilities. For example, have footage of the SRT-10 Ram doing its world record run. Even better would be something like what BMW did with the bmwfilms.com short films.

Just thought I'd express my opinion.

Both suggestions are excellent!
I'll be sure to pass them forward.

Thanks guys for checking out the web video, It’s much appreciated.

Any comments on the vehicle itself??

Being an owner of the SRT Ram, I'd have to comment that the vehicle itself is one awesome piece of machinery. It's fun to drive a truck that can run up against most sports cars.

Hats off to the SRT engineering team

i own a 1964 Dodge D100 426 Street wedge High Performance Package - it was probably the wildest high performance pickup ever offered by any manufacturer UNTIL the SRT10 was produced. i'd have to say that even though i would never sell my '64 i'd think long and hard about trading it for a SRT10!

I was lucky enough to drive a 2005 SRT-10 commemorative edition, regular cab, 6spd, that my son's friend just bought. It was fun and I wanted one, I have a 2005 Dodge Quad Cab 4x4, Cummins, that I use to tow my trailer with the Hemi Challenger inside. I am having a hard time thinking about the new Viper SRT-10 GTS Coupe. It is a nice car and comes with a warranty. I love my Hemi Challenger but the temptation is pretty great. I am looking forward to the new Hemi Challenger and may add one to the garage to keep my 70 company. Aliyah thanks for posting the latest info on the new vehicles.
