i had a new comp cam put in my truck but my idle is a little jumpy when i stop, and i have to tap the gas for the idle to level out.if i swaped out my throttle body intake for a carburated one would i be able to make finer adjustments to help correct it.any input is welcome.
I just had a comp cam XFI 268 put in my truck and had the same problem. The problem was fixed when a F.A.S.T. system was wired to the ECM of my truck. My truck puts out 377RWHP@6000RPM and 372RWT@4900 (Numbers off a Mustang dyno). I know that with the XFI 273 I would of made about 20 to 30 more horsepower but I would of lost about the same in torque. Talk to F.A.S.T (901)260-3278, tell them what the cam you have, they should fix the problem.
