b body hemi k member idetification

Hello ; I just found this site and am new to it, I have several early hemi's, a blown 392, a 331 with 6 strombergs ,and a 331 2 4 barrel. but I need some help identifing a crossmember that I have had in my garage attic for over 25 years, I was told it was for a b body with a 426 hemi when I purcased a 68 charger, it was thrown in with the deal ,the car is long gone and I was cleaning out the garage and came accros it. it is in like new condition, but I don't know what the differance is between the big block and the hemi crossmember. Is there anyone out there that can help? there is a # stamped on the front of it #29972. Thanks Mike Buzz ( Slackers Car Club Chicago IL.)

If you can post a pic of the K member I'm sure someone here could confirm it. You might also go to www.cuda-challenger.com and post it there. There are several members there who could I.D. it for you.
