Arlen Vanke

Post by 392heminut »

Arlen showed up at the house yesterday. Since I swapped the 392 for a 5.7 in the Cuda and I have a son going off to college next year I decided to sell the 392 to a buddy of mine for his 31 Roadster. He brought Arlen (who lives here in Deming now) over to show him the engine. I've talked to Arlen at the bank before, and have to say, he's a really cool guy and still 'one of us'! Still does business at the bank in a drag race T-shirt if you know what I mean. Arlen said he picked up a Duster on a trade and is planning on doing a 5.7 or 6.1 Hemi swap, and was really interested in my swap. I believe he is going to have Mancini's do it for him though, as he still travels a lot. At any rate, if and when he gets it done I'll get some pics to post here.

I don't know if Arlen is online much, but I'll certainly suggest the site to him next time I see him.
