This link will also help people learn something about the Hemi engine and how it works.

The above link; wording and picture, is totally misleading in that the comb. chamb. is NOT half of a sphere and is only a SLICE from a sphere. It don't take a rhodes scholar to figger out from eyeballing that the pictured engine would be very low compression

New member to the forum, although I've been lurking for about a year.

I know where this particular engine resides (or used to). It is (was) housed in a classroom in Broughton Hall on the NC State campus. I graduated BSME in 2003 and had many classes in this particular classroom.

I used to have a picture of the engine as well, but lost it in a computer crash. It had "Fireball" on the valve covers. I'm not sure what the displacement was. Maybe someone who know more Mopar history could help here. Not many people paid attention to this piece of history, so it would be no surprise if it got put in a closet somewhere.

correction...the valve covers said "Firepower". I was thinking about "Fireball" Roberts who had nothing to do with Chrysler.

Hi Wolfpack78,
Are you still in contact with the Campus ? Maybe they could shed some light on it ?

Sorry for the delayed response. I have been out of town since Thursday. The mechanical engineering department recently moved from the old campus to the new campus. I'm not sure where the engine is now.
