I got a neew pro billet distrebutor from msd and i was wondering if i should go for vacum advance or leave it how it is? (it came with all distrebutor parts needed for both) Also what kind of advance springs and stope bushing? what kind of advance curve do you need for a car that is mainly a dayly driver, but we would like it to be high performance.

Its been my experience that for a street driven engine, vacum advance is always best. You'll get awsome throttle response running a mechanical advance, but it's not always the best choice. Especially for an engine that will spend much time idling or in stop and go traffic.
