04' Flowmaster

Post by NYCHemi »

I installed the new Flowmaster American Thunder kit in my 04' Ram. Just wondering if anyone else has. When I go full throttle the engine boggs down when it goes to shift. Any ideas??? I tried disconnecting the battery so the computer will readjust but it still does it

I don't know how much is replaced in that system, but make sure your o2 sensors are still hooked up.

Because of torque management when our trucks shift, timing is retarded among other things. That causes a smooth shift but it also causes the shift to be very long and you lose power during it. Not knowing anything other than a bog, it also sounds like your flowmaster is much louder now and you're experiencing normal shifting but now you hear the loss in power from torque management.
