:oops: I believe that a look at a good dictionary will inform one that the word infamous is used in a negative sense and is not complementary to whatever is so named, in other words you don't want to become infamous for anything! Famous on the other hand is positive and complementary, and I feel does these motors more justice!

I think infamous is correct. Just ask any Ford or Chevy owner. Or any environmentalist the'll tell you how evil the Hemi is.

i knew what infamous meant, and i thought it to be pretty fitting... the 426 is the most infamous of all.. just ask any chevy or ford owner from the 70's.. 426 ruled all. only thing that came close was the 454 LS6 from the general
