Help! Sox & Martin ever drive an AMC? Photo Needed

I need to establish if Ronnie Sox ever drove an AMC Gremlin or any kind of AMC vehicle in a drag race. My friend insists that he DID drive an AMC. I disagree! Any chance you can help me?

As a car in competiton DEFINATELY A NO. maybe AND just maybe perhaps as a test and tune for a magazine but a a very slight possbility if any. I highly doubt it.
