A279 1 of 2

Condition:New

Description
Factory Chrysler Experimental Ball Stud Hemi Engine
Project. 90% done or better. This engine is one of only
2 known to exist from Chryslers late 60s skunkworks.
These engines were being tested for use as the
replacement for the 426 in 1971-72 or so. nearly done
and ready to assemble, valve covers need to be fabricated
and the new stage V intake needs to be modified to work
and some other small details sorted. heads are done,
custom pistons fitted and ready, custom cam and lifters,
all balancing done, 90% block work done, all valvetrain
and rockers sorted out(roller rockers). complete carb to
pan with two new in the box Holley race hemi carbs.
Custom made Fel-Pro head gaskets(2 sets), custom
made deck plate. this is a 472 cubic inch tall deck(RB)
engine. fully studded block. I purchased this engine project
from John Arruza a couple years ago, he did a large part
of the machine work, the rest was done here in san Diego
at Speed Specialties. this is the real deal. there are no
more of these. I know there are questions so please feel
free to give me a call. Lee 619-507-3160. I have much
more than is listed for this engine, I just cant state it all here.
I am simply tired and cannot afford to continue this project
anymore. someone is going to get a museum piece for a
very reasonable cost. Chrysler Historical does not have
one, but YOU could. I may consider partial trade deals
for cool mopar stuff of the musclecar era 1957-1971
