392 engine id is # is CE-568464

Guy is selling what he says is a 392 engine. ID is listed as # is CE-568464 It's in a 56 chrysler. I can't find this engine number anywhere. He also gave me number 1637625-2 which I think came off intake. What is engine based on these numbers? Thanks and hurry!

The 392's were only built in 57 and 58. A 56 Chrysler hemi would have to be a 354, which is still a great engine though!

The CE 56 stamped number should make this a 1956 354 which came in the Imperial. Sounds like it should be the original engine and not a 392.
