Hello from a new member

Hello,

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Steve and I am currently finishing up my hemi buildup, accomplished with a lot of help from Bob Walker at Hot Heads and also Tom Waters. Their parts are the best! My engine is going into a 41 Willys street rod that I have ordered from Outlaw Performance.

Its a 392 out of a '57 Imperial. Some additions are 4-bolt mains, h-beam rods, forged pistons, s.s. valves and a blower. The trans will be a 5-speed OD unit.

Now I come to the part where I would like to hear from those out there regarding my choice of carburetors. I've read a lot of opinions about whether to use a pair of Edelbrocks (very easy to tune) or to use a pair of holleys or demons (harder to tune, must be modified for blower use, but look a lot better). So...what do you think?

The rod will be mostly street driven with maybe a blast down the 1/4 mile for fun once in a while.
Thanks!
just passin' thru

I wish I could help you, sorry. Sounds like an awesome engine. Got any pictures you could post for us?
