331 distributor and oil pan info please

i just bought a complete 54 new yorker with a 331 hemi 4v im gonna put the engine in my cornett with an adapter my question is will any small block electronic distributors work all so the 331 has the long flat oil pan is there another pan and pickup that might work cornett is a 65 with a 318 poly. thank you. :o

For my 53 hemi, I used a Mallory Distributor from Hemi Hot heads:

I kept my original oil pan, so I can't offer any suggestions there. I would recommend giving Hot Heads a call and see what they recommend.

Any 318 dizzy will work if you cut the shaft & use a piece of tubing to make it 41/4" long.

thanks nicole and george for the info i see that hot heads also has an adapter for chrys and gm distributors also water pump and fuel pumps thanks happy holidays :D
