bore spacing ?
Would you please give me some idea as to what the early Hemi bore spacing is ? I had asked the Donovan question in hopes of shedding some light on that. Now I see the Donovan block is a different animal.

Re: bore spacing ?
I measured a 331/354 deck height at 10.384 inch (don't know tolerance range)gary534 wrote:Would you please give me some idea as to what the early Hemi bore spacing is ?
I am pretty sure that the bore spacing is 4.5625 inch
The Donovan should have the same bore spacing, otherwise the heads, rockershafts, cranks, cams, valve covers, etc won't interchange.
Still searching for parts for my 1930 Dodge Brothers DD coupe...

Bore spacing, block deck ht ?
Block/deck height of a 392 is 10.870. I have not measured a 331/354 so I can't give that one. Bore spacing on a 331/354/392 are all the same. If you have any one just measure it and you shold have it for all three. I have an uncut 331 I can use to measure the deck height in a few days. Will do the spacing at the same time for verification. I will post the numbers. Buddy
