whitetail's 331 industrial hemi
is there anything you can tell me about the motors history with the numbers i supplied. it has a huge bellhousing. i'm new to the hemi world. can the motor's history be traced? is it worth reviving? is it worth anything? the year, what it was used in or for.is there another website or a book i can use to further investigate?

I don't think you have an extended bell block...the bellhousing does bolt on, correct? The 331 non-extended block was used in late '54 and '55 in cars.
Of corse this engine has value....many of these are simply passenger car enigines used in industrial applications. They were used as water pumps, gensets, etc. A great engine to rebuild....
