Question about valve cover parts

Post by comet »

I just bought a '58 392 with the stock valve covers, but the hat shaped caps that hide the wires is missing. Does anyone know if they are available in the aftermarket?

Stock ones show up on ebay all the time.Aftermarket ones might not fit your covers.

As posted, eBay is probably your best bet. If the seller doesnt list the length, take a few minutes and send him an email asking.
You will also need the flat steel washers that sit on the top of the seals, that the wire cover presses against.

Ok, I've got a search saved on E-bay already, thanks guys. I already have the steel washers, but I think I'm missing one or two.

I have the spark plug wire covers and the tube seal washers, look in the forsale section.
