Original guides with oiling holes - use em or chuck em?
I'm debating on whether or not to change the guides on my 1955 331 heads. The exhausts have oiling holes in them. I've heard that they didn't even use valve stem seals on the exhaust side when the engines were built. They're in perfect shape and will only require a pass with a reamer to make sure they size up with the new valves. Thoughts?
