1953 hemi 331 Head gaskets

Are copper gaskets preffered over other types? We have the non-copper type and want to be sure prior to instalation.

As a rule, copper head gaskets are used in applications where the heads are O-ringed and a blower or turbo are used, they aren't necessary on a normaly aspirated street engine.
