Dodge hemi/poly intakes are the same for 241 through 325, within deck height families
does big Chrysler 301-331-354 intakes also interchange between hemi and poly engines, for big Chrysler block ?
the intake gaskets look identical to me- has anyone tried it ?

Yes, they all interchange hemi-poly from 1955-1958. Even the 392 will interchange with the 331. 1954 and earlier will not interchange with the newer ones due to the water jackets being in the intake, but you can still use them if they cover the water openings and you route the water to the radiator externally.

thanks for reply- intuition told me they had to interchange, just were too close not to
I know the front exit water openings with separate water crossover is more efficient for cooling- Moroso used to make a "Y" kit for all engines to convert to that setup, it meters flow from left/right banks more evenly out to radiator- but to be honest, the early intake with t-stat part of intake manifold, is way less hassle- why bolt on 2 parts when you can bolt on just one.
IMHO I'd prefer a 1954 intake, and block off the front water outlets with small plates, like the rear of head water outlets are blocked OEM.
