BBC Water Pumps for blown street 92

I would like to use an edlebrock bbc pump for my 92 but I dont know which one to get-I already have the adaptors. Do I need to use the short or long snout with a blower? Most everyone else is promoting the weiand pumps!

If you have the OEM timing cover the long pump fits, if you have the flat Hot Heads cover you can use the short pump.
